I Guess I'm Ready to Come Back

I've not posted in a while and my reasons for this are strange even for me... I went on a little 3 month food bender and gained 9 lbs. I didn't want to post again until I could reach a "new" number. That hasn't happened YET, but I recognized that I missed posting and punishing myself for not losing weight was a little ridiculous to say the least.

I need to hold myself accountable for what I eat and why I am eating it. I have some new goals, which I hope to meet in the short, and long term. First, I want to be at my LOWEST Danskin weight for the race this year. That means I need to lose a minimum of 5 REAL (not starve yourself for a day and sit in the sauna for hours and hop on the scale) pounds. 187.5 is the MAGIC number, though I hope to lose more than that. The second goal is to become a LIFETIME WW member THIS YEAR 2007! I am working with a friend who also has the same objective and we will continue to support each other.... I CAN DO THIS

While "dieting" has been not so great these last few weeks, workouts have been AWESOME! I have run hard courses, cycled with my skinny friends and spun ALOT. My sister and I are going to step it up in the next 7 weeks to get ourselves in tip-top shape for Danskin.

It's great to be back!!
