A Most Crazy Busy Weekend....

OK - Pitty pary over. My life is busy - oh well... It doesn't mean that I have to eat crap and it doesn't mean that I get a "no exercise" pass. It means I have to be better at scheduling and I need to adjust to what is...

I walked ALOT this weekend and will do so next weekend as well. We're going to Washington with the kids to see the sites and catch up with old friends. I am very excited. I lived there for several years before marriage/children and I really do miss it. I am sure that I will move back there at some point. In the meantime, we've got sites to see, zoos to visit and that means walking. As long as I keep an eye on my food intake it should be a gain-free time. I am getting on the scale for next Tuesdays weigh in regardless of what I put in my mouth. That gives me something to consider before I order my favorite Eastern Market Breakfast of banana walnut pancakes smothered in butter and powered sugar....

I just came across your blog today and I felt like I was reading my own words in so many ways. I haven't had much time to look through more of your posts but I keep wondering how much you weighed before you started this blog. Is the answer here somewhere? I'm so impressed with your races too, need to read more when I have the time. Hang in there I know what you mean about so much to do, the procrastination, the house a mess, the kids here and there and the million other things a mom has to do. When you said you were coming to Washington I thought "yea I need to go to the zoo sometime soon too" *smile*.

I am a SLOW loser... In fact, in the last 3 years since starting this blog I've kept off about 25-30 lbs. I started at around 211 and I am currently at 185. My lowest was 180. I guess I just don't give up... I figure eventually I will GET IT! THanks for stopping by!

The thing I keep reminding myself is that this is for life. So keeping that weight off for 3 yrs is wonderful. It's definitely hard work. I too am a slow loser. Hope you have a good day.
