I’m going to do things differently. This week I’ve decided to consciously; mindfully drink water. I’m a coffee person and have always assumed that liquid is liquid…
Well, actually I still believe that, AND I’m still going to drink 8 glasses of REAL H2O as many days as I can muster this week. Why? Because *some people* swear by it for weight loss.
(Straw grasping perhaps?)
So far I'm making a lot of extra trips to the bathroom and that means STEPS people!
Yesterday I ate within daily points. Today I intend to do the same all the way through Tuesday next week when I head back to Weight Watchers.
Weekends are challenging. Yes, they are! I don’t know why “challenging” has been my go to excuse for not saying “No Thank You”, or eating mindlessly.
Losing weight is hard. It takes focus. Eating well is awesome, but if you eat too many good-for-you-foods, you're not going to lose any weight. I have to keep that in mind ALWAYS.
I had my annual physical. My doctor is not a fan of diets and as long as my weight stays with in +/- of 10 lbs of my average annual weight (her formula) she's OK with it. (Not me). My cholesterol is borderline, my thyroid is teetering on the edge (4.5) so losing weight and keeping my diet in check is really important TO ME.
I have 3 more weighs in October. I have an opportunity to do better and an opportunity to reach my goal (170's? ) Stay tuned. No more excuses.
