Again, the Doctor's scale is key and my appointment is next Thursday morning, but my scale this morning said 196.0 This is a loss of 8 pounds, and though I know it's not really accurate I'm moving in the right direction.
Wendy made the point that I should count protein grams and not percentages; suggesting somewhere around 100 grams/day... Here's where I fell...
Overall, I'm happy with the average for the week - it really takes work - forethought - planning to hit 100 grams daily. There are so many protein sources I don't like - beef, any type of jerky, tofu...Fish, Chicken, Pork... not always grab and go. AND I'm working on it.
I'm feeling fine about the diet while stressing about the rest of my week since we leave Saturday for DC. It's family vacation (14 of us) and I've been in charge of it all - renting houses, checking on baseball schedules, museum times and this week every one's calling about one thing or another... And then there's the cat. He got a cut on his paw which I clean up, thought he was good and its not - so vet today... He was acting totally fine until this morning; now he's just laying on the bed, didn't come down for breakfast so I'm glad I made the call...
But wait there's more... I won't elaborated, but there's definitely more I'm worrying about... I need to get to YOGA.

That's great! I agree it takes some work, but it's worth it. It's the most satiating macro nutrient, and when losing weight it adequate protein helps ensure we lose fat, and not lean mass.
I'm jealous of you seeing losses, but also happy for you. My own body is just completely resisting any loss. It's very frustrating.
