Vacation was fine. We were in DC which I love and the family had a decent time. The apartment we rented was perfect - close to Metro, Eastern Market, Starbucks... We didn't use the car once. We walked everywhere and one day we biked around the monuments. I didn't fret about the diet as I happily ate birthday cake, Shake Shack's Cements, and homemade ginger ale. And now I am done. Holiday over!! Even with all the walking I feel fat and in need of a diet makeover.

Work is busy. I can't believe it's the end of the month and the fiscal year closing is fast approaching... My least favorite time!! My teen is stressing about school and I just hope she can pull out a passing grade for the year. It's going to be close... She's going to have to work. I'll be glad when Freshman year is over... I am ready for summer!
My goals for the week are:
1. Eat properly - low carb, healthy veggies and lean meats
2. No sugar
3. Get to the gym for some high intensity workouts and do at least one weight training session.
4. Get the finances in order.
