I successfully made it through Wednesday only eating one "weekly point".
My struggle this week is with my kids being home - their last week of summer. The teen was at camp and missed all her favorite haunts - Panera, Chipotle, Dunkin'... She wants to eat out all the time! The little one is just over-scheduled and eating on the go... hard to do since I need to go shopping and there's not much in the fridge.
Last night was a compromise. We stopped at Whole Foods after hunting down the last pair of navy blue sports shorts in the county and I bought staples for breakfast until I can do a real shop and the girls got to pick their dinner - salad bar and prepared foods. I chose a shrimp gazpacho and bought the DH a rotisserie chicken and salad greens. Done.
I have to stop looking too far ahead and concentrating on each day.
Today is farmers market - I'll be able to load up on veggies and fruit! Today we're having fish for dinner. Today I am going for a *gasp* run.
