Ran with the Girls

First Saturday run in a while. It was rough; I'm out of shape and working on changing that fact. It was an active day - hours of yard work, and walking the mall with the family. We topped it off with dinner at the Japanese buffet... fresh shrimp, crab, salmon and spinach salad, kim chi... for desert I had a homemade crepe with fresh bananas, a drizzle of chocolate and whipped cream... It was delicious and 5 points!!!

Today I shopped and prepped some meals for the week. Turkey chili, watermelon, cleaned two pounds of shrimp for dinner and marinated chicken to grill for salads. I want to have a week of clean eating - no excuses.

The kids start school Wednesday, but in the meantime we have vet check ups for all the animals, an overnight house guest, ceiling repair from a plumbing fix 6 months ago, car maintenance, and work... I have to accept that there will probably be some stress and I can't let it get to me. I will not turn to food.

I was happy to see 189 on the scale Saturday morning. I hope it holds through my Tuesday weigh in... It would be so nice to have a decent loss. I am not patient. I have plans...
